The Theory
I graduated from CU in May. Since then, I have been working two different internships, one in the marketing department at the Denver Art Museum and one at a magazine company that owns both Cherry Creek Lifestyle and Boulder Lifestyle.
I create content for the DAM’s website and membership magazine and I edited article after article for both lifestyle magazines, but I still feel like I’m not writing what I want to be writing. The “point” of getting a journalism degree was to learn how to convey my thoughts and people’s stories through writing, so I’m going to try to do that.
The theory behind starting a blog was to keep me from doing… diddly-squat (see what I did there) and to practice writing. I’m sorry to add a blog to the millions already out there, and I promise to do my best to not add too much to the noise that’s already out there.
